About me

I am a Dublin born counsellor/psychotherapist and consultative supervisor with a private practice in Pontcanna, Cardiff. I offer confidential one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy to adults (16+). My core therapeutic training is from a humanistic and integrative standpoint but my work is also influenced by psychodynamic, gestalt and CBT approaches. I have extensive experience in the field as prior to my move to Cardiff, I had a successful private practice in Dublin. In addition to my private practice, I work as a counsellor within the NHS.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) since 2012. I also have an extensive background of working with large corporate/global multinational businesses so I have an in-depth understanding of the pressures of modern working life.

I work with some of the UK’s leading Employee Assistance Programme providers such as Health Assured and Right Management.

I am also a registered provider of psychotherapy for healthcare insurance companies including Aviva, BUPA, Pru Health and WPA.

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Consultative Supervision awarded by the University of South Wales and I am able to offer supervision services, working with both individuals and groups.
I also provide clinical supervision for Cardiff Mind.
